World Menstrual Hygiene Day was observed on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Old Minus Five Star Club, Syang. To raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, the Satyalok Foundation organized a special program for all women in the area, addressing the challenges and related health issues faced during menstruation. The event took place at 5:00 PM in the Old Minus Five Star Club, featuring informative sessions by the Satyalok Girls Warriors.
During the program, Nisha Tripathi conducted the stage, and various speakers shared valuable insights. Suman provided general information about menstruation, Aditi Lal discussed the importance of yoga and diet during these days, Jaya shed light on the social aspects, Avantika discussed related diseases, and Reshma captivated everyone with a dedicated melodious song for women. Finally, Chairperson Sangeeta Kumari expressed gratitude to all.
The chief guest for the event was Rajesh Ranjan Singh, the Officer-in-Charge of Gomia Police Station, who attended with his female police officers. Other notable attendees included Vinod Vishwakarma, the head of the Swang Uttri region, Braj Nandan Singh, the founder of Bachpan Play School Gomia, Manoj Kumar Mahato, the President of Satyalok, and active members.
